Oh damn my fault, I meant to tell you last night.  Our Success and our dream lives called me last night. They told me to tell you that they are on their way to you right now. They apologized for the delay. They just needed to make sure you believed first! We talked and worked everything out and  they told me that they are on their way to you right now, GOD sent them express, so they will be delivered to you at light speed!

I read An old story of a king in Africa who had a close friend with whom he grew up. The friend had a habit of looking at every situation that ever occurred in his life (positive or negative) and remarking, "This is good!"

One day the king and his friend were out on a hunting expedition. The friend would load and prepare the guns for the king. The friend had apparently done something wrong in preparing one of the guns, for after taking the gun from his friend, the king fired it and his thumb was blown off. Examining the situation the friend remarked as usual, "This is good!" To which the king replied, "No, this is NOT good!" and proceeded to send his friend to jail.

About a year later, the king was hunting in an area that he should have known to stay clear of. Cannibals captured him and took him to their village. They tied his hands, stacked some wood, set up a stake and bound him to the stake.

As they came near to set fire to the wood, they noticed that the king was missing a thumb. Being superstitious, they never ate anyone that was less than whole. So untying the king, they sent him on his way. As he returned home, he was reminded of the event that had taken his thumb and felt remorse for his treatment of his friend. He went immediately to the jail to speak with his friend. "You were right," he said, "it was good that my thumb was blown off." And he proceeded to tell the friend all that had just happened. "And so I am very sorry for sending you to jail for so long. It was bad for me to do this."

"No," his friend replied, "This is good!"

"What do you mean, 'This is good'? How could it be good that I sent my friend to jail for a year?"

Fear not, you are exactly where you are in life because you are supposed to be there! Don't fret or worry or be down on yourself by thinking or worrying about your current situation.  Everything works out for our greater good. There are lessons that need to be learned in the "right now", that we will need that will carry us into our bright and successful futures. We need to be right where we are so that we can get where we are going. The beauty of life is in the journey, not the destination.  Just Give it time, keep working, keep believing, keep dreaming, keep learning, and everything will work out for your greatest good.

I don't want to be a "big shot" just so I can push the "little shots" around. Honestly, I don't.
In fact, quite the opposite. I want to be a "big shot" just so I can SHOW and PROVE to the "little shots" that if they wanted to, they can be "big shots" too!  For, what is a big shot, but a little shot that just kept on shooting!

I read that the most valuable diamonds in the world are red diamonds. The red color is thought to be caused by something called graining. It's some scientific stuff that results from structural irregularities in combination with an impurity in the diamond. Its the diamonds  "imperfections" and "irregularities" that make them so rare and unique. Thus so valuable. There are only about 20 of them in (known) existence. They are valued at about $1 million to $2.5 million per carat. Again, It's their irregularities and imperfections that make them so unique rare beautiful and valuable.

Its our "imperfections" and "irregularities" which make us all unique, rare beautiful and valuable. but the best part about us is that there isn't 20 of us in the world who are exactly alike. THERE IS ONLY 1 OF EACH ONE OF US. And if they have determined the value of a diamond where there are 20 of them in the world to be $2 million to $2.5 million per carat. What do we value ourselves at?

REMEMBER HOW UNIQUE AND RARE YOU ARE! THERE IS ONLY ONE OF YOU! NO ONE CAN DO WHAT YOU DO, QUITE LIKE HOW YOU DO IT!

BE LIKE MR. MAGOO MY FRIENDS!

I mean aside from the blatant, overt racism, Mr. Magoo was the man! he had a very specific agenda (goal) every episode. He went out to accomplish SOMETHING every episode. He had tunnel vision and only saw what he wanted to see. and even though all kinds of disaster and stuff falling apart around him he would just focus on his mission (goal), Nothing broke his spirits. He would just keep going and somehow EVERYTHING would always just work out for him.



EVEN IN DISASTER, EVEN IF EVERYTHING IS FALLING APART AROUND YOU, JUST KEEP GOING! EVEN IF ALL SIGNS AROUND YOU SEEM TO SAY NO, OR YOU CANT DO THIS, OR YOUR DREAMS ARE IMPOSSIBLE READ THE SIGNS LIKE MR MAGOO AND ACT AS IF THEY SAY YES, YOUR DREAMS ARE POSSIBLE, PROCEED AHEAD!  JUST STAY FOCUSED ON YOUR GOAL, KEEP GOING AND BEING POSITIVE AND EVERYTHING WILL WORK OUT FOR YOU TOO!

I'm afraid there will be no tomorrow!

When I was in jr high school I had this amazing teacher named Mr. Flynn. One time he had assigned us homework and I didn't do it. So he said u better have it tomorrow. So the next day comes and he asks me for the homework and I'm turned around talking to a classmate and he said Mr. Mckoy do you have that homework I said nah ill do it tomorrow and rudely kept on talking to my friend. The next day same thing  I'm talking to my friend and he said Mr. Mckoy do you have my homework. I said nah ill do it tomorrow and turned to my friend to continue talking. He said Mr. Mckoy I'm afraid THERE WILL BE NO TOMORROW. He interrupted class and all of that and said come with me. He walked me down the hall to call my parents. He taught me that you can't play somebody forever, you cant keep pushing people and pushing people thinking they aint gonna react at some point. He showed me that there are deadlines and consequences. Until you are the boss, you do things when they need to be done, not when you want to do them! He taught me more than just social studies! 

You could catch Mr. Flynn on foot walking around various parts of Yonkers. Legend has it that he went to School street and knocked on doors and told parents, your kid owes me homework and I've come to collect. Mr Flynn was hard. It was obvious he really really cared! Which is what made him an incredible teacher and man! 

Mr. Flynn as a teacher had way more influence in MY life than any athlete, singer, rapper, actor etc. but that was the good old days! 

Mr. Flynn wherever you might be I'm sure I speak for many when i say thanks! 

Teachers are amazing, they have the whole worlds future in their hands! Thanks!

One thing I learned is that $#!+ happens and we lose people we love! 

Lets try to say thank you, say I Love you, I miss you, I'm sorry, it was my fault, lets work it out, lets get together, your my best friend, your the best husband, wife, brother or sister mom or dad son or daughter  in the world etc!

 Lets say all the stuff that we want to say to each other but don't or won't say because we take for granted that we will all just be here and we will say it tomorrow or someday. but we don't know if there will be a tomorrow. we don't know when our last day will be or the last opportunity we will have to say these words to each other. 

I would imagine The only thing worse than losing someone you love is losing them when you have a whole bunch of stuff inside of you that you could've should've would've said or done. But didn't because you told yourself you will tell them tomorrow. 

The bad news is that life is short so we gotta live each day as if it were our last!
